Just made a run from here (Philly) to NYC and back. People were getting pulled over left and right on the turnpike ... No sarcasm. In about a 1/4 mile there were three cars.

I run the NJTP a lot and never seen it this bad. Where's that "crackdown" email now. Lol

Tax dollars at work.

I drive 32 miles to work, and pass through six (6) jurisdictions. Each has its own police dept, chief, etc. And they all want revenue. This state is amazing w/ "home rule" such as it is.

Who doesn't want revenue? You know a cool solution?

<Don't break the law>

I pass plenty of cops, and somehow they don't pull me over. Amazing! :lol:

I haven't been ticketed or pulled in over a decade. I'm discussing intent, not personal experience.

See today's Daily Record headline (Sunday March 6th) for more detail...Boonton's ticket-writing has jumped nearly 120%.

Your point is otherwise valid, being stopped requires some sort of offense in most cases. "Click It or Ticket" seat-belt roadblock campaigns and DUI checkpoints nothwithstanding.
