Up for sale is a 1987 Monte carlo SS Aerocoupe. It is completely original except for the aftermarket pop-up sunroof anf front wheels. It has 151,000 miles on it. It has the original 305 and 200-4R trans. The motor runs good but smokes a little (needs valve seals). The trans shifts good but needs a Trans mount( easy fix).It also has the factory 10 bolt posi rear w/ 3.73 gears. Body wise it is in pretty good shape. The frame(especially the rear frame rails) is 100 % solid. The 1/4's are solid and the pass front fender is solid. All panels are straight except for the front bumper cover (nose) and the driver side fender (which has a small dent). the doors have the typical rust on the bottom . The floors are solid except for the driver's side floor pan nad spare tire well. The interior is in decent shape. The seats are not ripped. Just alittle where on the sides of the front buckets but that's it. the rear seat is in very good shape. The carpet is decent. there is no headliner material. Like I mentioned early it has an aftermarket pop-up sun roof which does not leak. The dash has a couple of cracks. Nothing major.

You could driver this everyday if you gave it a tune up, fixed the trans mount and fixed the valve seals.

This is an easy resto-project that can be driven while you fix it up. Overall car is in decent shape for the year.
