Any sponsors do it? If not anyone have any places that they know of to be able to tune a 1997 GTP?

Thought it was already tuned?? Its gonna run around 300.00 to have it tuned..

It needs a retune for the fuel pump. They couldn't command enough fuel from the old one without the hot wire kit. Cost isn't a concern really because you get what you pay for. Just need to find who can do it well and where.

contact Race Proven Motorsports in Delaware. They did my SS and eventually ill get the V there too.

Contact Tommy, Twisted minds racing.. he is located in Atco not to far from us. He tuned my car as well as installed the motor.. Thought I saw you posted a pic of the car getting 35 mpg.. Sounds like its tuned just fine for what you want it to do...

Previous owner said the tune was unfinished. It has an aggressive tune with 2 degrees of timing retarded due to not being able to command enough fuel. So mainly its just a "completed" tune that it needs. Everything for the blower, pully, trans, gears and tire size is done. Its definitely not a necessity but I see myself keeping this car for an extended time I would like it to be able to run to its potential with its current setup. Only thing I may do before the tune is a set of headers just to complete it but that wont be for a few.

If you need a hand with the tune, let me know. I worked at Dynotech when they were in NJ (before Eric passed away) and did a lot of 3800 performance work & tuning. I don't do it for a living anymore but try to help out since there's not a lot of Buick oriented shops left.

go on http://www.ClubGP.com/newforum and look for 3800Chris in the east cost section,. he is THE BEST 3800 tuner i know. he s INCREDIBLE, and doesn't charge nearly as much as the other guys osted. real down to earth guy too!!
