July Car of the Month Submissions

Anyone can post one photograph of only their Camaro or Firebird in this thread. Photographs of multiple cars or cars with models will not be accepted.

Please include your name and a short paragraph (at least a few sentences) describing the mods done to the car and/or a short story about the car as well.

If this is not posted in this thread by the time voting begins, your car will not be included in the vote.

All submitted pictures should be a minimum size of 640 x 480, as this is the size of the image that will be posted on the home page. If you aren't sure of the size, post it up the largest image you have (within reason), or send a private message to me for assistance.

At the last week of the month we will post a poll that will last for one week and the winner will get to spend the following month showcased on the home page of the site. Past winning cars (regardless of ownership changes) will not be eligible to enter again for 12 months.

Please limit this thread to posts submitting pictures only. Comments and other chit-chat will be removed.

Mike Colombini- 1988 Camaro Sports Coupe- I found this all original 95k mile rust free Maui Blue Metallic over Silver Camaro from the original elderly female owner. It had a few quirks in the paint that have been taken care of with a fresh coat. New grille, parking lights, muffler, wheel center caps and a few other odds and ends have been replaced. I am still waiting for the seats to come in, then she will be complete!

1988 Camaro Iroc-Z28. Car has under 100k original miles. 305 H.O. motor. Other than headers, functional ram air hood/box, high flow cat, this car is stock. 700r4 trans, 10bolt rear with either 2.73 or 3.23 gears i forget. 91-92 high rise spoiler. It also has brand new BFgood rich all season radials 275s in the rear and 225s in the front sitting on 15x8 and 15x7 summit fast five wheels. I have had this car for a little over 6 1/2 years and was a huge pile of crap when i bought it !

My name is mike and this is my 91 Z28 Convertible. She's got 89K on the clock and is all orginal except for a dynomax cat-back and a MSD coil. When i got the car and changed the plugs and wires they were all original from 1991.

Car has 133k on it and has been my DD for 3 years. It has a custom spec'd cam in it along with full bolt ons and suspension.

This is my 1987 Trans Am. I bought the car about 8 years ago and it has been my toy ever since. I replaced the engine with a rebuilt 305 and also added shorty headers and a full exhaust. I've gone through the entire suspension and the car now has full polyurethane front bushings, Hotchkis SFC's, and Spohn Wonder bar, Torque Arm and Panhard bar. The rear has also been swapped for a B/W 9 bolt with disc brakes. Future plans include Front/Rear Sway bars and I have a set of heads and a cam waiting to be installed.

I'm Aaron and this is my 89 TTA with PTE51 turbo, alcohol injection 50# injectors, 3"DP into a dump pipe or Hooker exhaust, some other bits and pieces along with some chrome stuff. I've had the car for about a year and a half and love it! I've had other F-bodies and can honestly say this is easily my favorite. This one started in MI, then went to TN and AR, then SC and now it resides with me in NJ. I have never run it (or any other car for that matter) but would hope it would pull off a mid 11 second pass. Maybe someday we'll find out....
