Yes! The moment that most teenagers await the most has come, i'll be graduating tomorrow from Absegami High School. I've got to say, it's a bittersweet moment for me, I'm really let down that I really only broke out of my shell and did alot my senior year - which has to be the best and most adventurous year i've ever had. It's a funny feeling quitting a thirteen year routine that i've known basically all my life and just one day quit it. Walking into the school I felt nothing except wanting to get out of there.. and now I can say that leaving is painful. I'll be losing touch of alot of people and just the day to day shenanigans i'll miss. Cheers to anyone else that's graduating on this forum! Here's to stepping into adult hood.

What do you guys miss from High School?

Now onto more important things, like buying an LS1 car haha

i feel the same way about my shell, i was breaking out of it near the end of my junior year, but completely out my senior year. it was a great year and i had a lot of fun. Honestly what i miss is seeing everyone, even people i didnt talk to, i just like being around people.

also i miss cross country. it was a great time, basically a free stay-in-shape membership.

congradulations on your accomplishment. i felt the same way you did when you left high school.

its a harsh reality that of your graduating class you'll be lucky to maybe keep in touch with 5% of them and everyone goes their own ways.

the thing i miss the most is skipping class...in college if you skipped class it came out of your pocket haha

I miss the free time of high school, and wishing I came out of my shell earlier as well. I still stay in touch with a bunch of people, but have fallen out of touch with others unless we happen to show up together.

I couldn't wait to get out of my high school. A bunch of fake kids who thought they were something they weren't. I talk to maybe 3 or 4 people from high school. The friends I have now are 10x's better people than the scumbags I grew up with.

track was the biggest pain in the ass but at the same time one of the best decisions of my life. who wouldn't thunk a schmuk like myself could run a sub 5min mile and a low 50sec quarter mile.... i sure as hell wouldve never guessed it. i loved highschool you will never appreciate until you start college. all i can say is prepair yourself to do 3 things in school, sit in class study and go to work. no free time, thats the biggest thing i miss.

after finishing my first two semester of college i dont have much to show for it but a certificate for making the deans list. i never made the honor roll in highschool but i busted my ass it i guess it showed. you just need to be confident and work and you will do alright. have fun this summer!8-)

I probably run into more people from other classes than I do from my own class. We get a good turnout at a golf fundraiser for a classmate that passed away from brain cancer and that has turned into a mini yearly reunion which is pretty cool. I have not heard from some good friends from high school in over 15 years and have no idea where they even live now. It's funny when you look back and think that high school was only 4 years of your life but it seemed to take 10 years to get through it!

I miss the irresponsibility of being a teenager. Growing up sucks!!

As for the friend aspects of high school. The ones that I met back then, we're still friends now 17 years later. Was best man in 2 weddings from people I met in high school, countless weddings, parties, and other shenanigans from the rest of people that I've met back then.. :D But the rest still can go suck it! :D

yeah i had a hand full of those in my high school...guess where they are now...

heroin users, random drug users, license suspensions, DUI's, expelled out of a college, and one is like uncle rico from napoleon dynamite and still hangs around high schoolers re-living his only glory days

I loved high school. College will be fun too. Just know that these really are the glory years where you don't have real-world problems & responsibilities. Learn from your mistakes, live it up and enjoy the next four years; the last thing you want to do is look back and have regrets.

My younger brother will be graduating high school next week--I can't wait to be the jackass in the crowd blaring an air horn and shouting obnoxiously after his name is called

Congratulations.

Dont worry you will be in the same routine with college. No different except no body is going to push you to go to class except for the money you are spending.

Im glad im gone but i do miss some of the people that i knew and got to mingle with everyday.

Congrats., Just rememer to blanace yourself in college. Either burnout from trying to hard or party way to much and not achieve what you may ultimately want
