88 350 TPI-

Trying to get the camaro back on the road for the summer took it for its first drive and felt great until it warmed up and then every time i took my foot off the gas or gave it a lot of gas it died especially at red lights. It started back up fine and i drove it home.

It was throwing codes for TPS and MAF both of which i replaced last summer when i was having the same problem. Could both already be bad or might it be something else triggering it?

also replaced fuel pump last summer too

Anyone have any direction i should look into?

I would have to guess that if it is saying these codes, you might want to replace them with NEW GM parts. If you took it to a dealer, they would also take that path.

just started it up and drove it for about 15 minutes the SES light stayed off and it idled nicely but when i put it in park the rpms jumped to 1500

Drop the ECM from under the dash, and whack the case w/ your hand while the engine's running. Sounds shadetree, but when they have intermittent failures due to loose solder joints this will usually trigger (or rule out) a problem there.

After that I'd go after a ground problem. I think the sensors share a common ground on the back of one of the cylinder heads, might be loose or corroded.

or you could try a known good ECM instead of hitting the one you have and possibly breaking a solder point by accident....also inspect the harness for those two things....get out your multimeter and check the TPS...if thats in spec jiggle the wire...if it goes intermittant you know the problem is the pig-tail....so the same for the MAF, also check MAF relays

When you installed the tps, did you adjust it with a multimeter?

Happens after warm-up? Does it bog down when you tip the throttle?
Warm up to me means 02 sensor from just past experiences.
