Nice!
I hope you don't mind but I popped off the pic that had your name/address/phone in it. Obviously put it back if you want but I didn't know if you knew that you did it and cared if it was out there.

I heard there can be fitment issues...i do have dual fans, i'll see how close it gets, im sure i can make it work somehow....they do say that "you may have to trim a little off the lower fan mount" so i'll see what has to be trimmed and if i am comfortable with it i'll do it lol

It's a steering support brace for 3rd gens. No one thought about slapping some "huge" 245/50/16s on them when they were first designed in the early 80s, so when that happened, the factory included this "wonder bar" on IROCs to help keep everything together for the long run. The aftermarket jumped on it and sells 'em powdercoated for cheap.

It makes you "WONDER" why is Chevrolet knew about this problem (and had a fix for it) why Pontiac never installed them on the late model birds. I also installed a small support bar (located on the passenger side hood support) that attached to the lip on the firewall. Never could find out what it does, but some late model 3rd Gens have and most do not.

in stalled it on the lift at my weekend job, went in like it belonged....didn't have to trim anything for the fans but since it does kind of push the fans up a hair the primary was hitting the power steering metal line....i just tweeked it a little to give some clearance and all was good....here are the pics after the install, took about 10 minutes

i got the one from TDS and was happy with it. no trimming of anything.

one thing at a time....i have laundry list of things to do....i need an exhaust to get through ispection, i need a windshield cause it cracked, like really bad, as a matter of fact in the 20 miles i've driven since buying it the crack has gotten worse, and i need to refurbish the steering system because it is as loose as a goose...im like 95% sure its the steering box

I was about to say that your steering box looks like it's leaking? Looks a bit shiny.
