Full slip below.
Well, its been over a year since I have driven my Nova. I had plans for a big engine but it is just too expensive, so my brother let me put his 383 in my car. It is nothing crazy, just 10.2:1 CR, worked Vortec Heads, Super Victor Intake and a 750 carb. It still breathes through 1 3/4" long tube headers with dynomax mufflers and is backed by a glide and 4.56's. Not really looking to improve on the times, even though there seems to be more there with the mph being a little low, just want to get out there on race day and go some rounds.

Here are the #'s

60'...1.522
330...4.563
1/8...7.174
MPH...93.67
1000...9.458
1/4...11.420
MPH...114.13

Thats a great time for the mph, looks like your car gets out quick. Any idea of what your race weight is?

It is a good time but I think you are looking past the glide, they are magical.

We'll see about that!

3000# with me in it.

I was just saying what it had in it, I wasn't taking anything away from it. My main use for the car is bracket racing, so the glide was the clear choice.

I understand, I merely meant that a glide is wayyyy more efficient than our 4l60's, that's why the et is so good compared to the mph.
