Got Boned on TGO

in april i bought some black seats out of an 86 Z28 for my 88 from a guy in like wyoming for 335 shipped, looked excellent in the pictures. needless to say after excuse after excuse and another excuse, they are finally starting to arrive, and now i need to sell the car theyre going in. i open the first box, a burn hole in each of the rear seat bottoms, open the second box, the upper rear seat, and it smells like spray paint. i come to realize 'someone' painted a set of gray seats (that were probably very nice) with some sort of fabric dye, and when u crease them at a seam u see the original color and the bottom of the upper seat back is still kinda gray! sooooo pissed, i just emailed him.

anyone got black/gray or black fabric 3rd or 4th gen camaro seats?!?! i may be in the market lol UUUUUGGGGGHHHHHHH

wow thats miserable i just got rid of my other set of 4th gen seats ill ask the person i sold them to if he still has his stock 3rd gen seats and is willing to sell them

dam that sucks, i hate when people aren't honest and/or fair with sales.
whenever i sell an item i make sure the buyer is fully aware of defects if any, plus i always offer full refunds with really no questions asked.

i wonder if the seats in the pic are even the ones he sent you, maybe he had a better offer and sold them elsewhere them painted a set for you.

he wrote back saying he WAS told they were dyed by the previos owner and he 'promises theyll look good installed and the buyer of my car wont know' i LOL at that

i recently ordered new sport seats for my camaro. just 2 front ones. they should arrive tomorrow. $350 plus shipping
meaning...

after i build some brackets for them .. i will be looking to get rid of/sell my current black cloth front seats. the pass side one is in great shape. the drivers side is not that good, but not terrible. it has the standard rips on the left side and some cracks in the vinyl back/side parts. one small cigarett burn from one of the very few times i ever smoked in my car (8 yrs ago). id be willing to get rid of them fr a super cheap price. unless i need some of the brackets underneath to make my new seats work. let me know

ahh thanks man... i picked up a decent set of 95 camaro seats in teh 2 tone gray for a gooood price and installed them already... now i have 2 sets of seats sitting around i gotta sell
