I'm having quite the problem getting into reverse with my t56, I can't get it on the first try and after i roll a little bit I fan usually get it. If I can't get it to roll it usually takes a pretty good amount of force and a few times. The car has a hurst shifter and also has the sticky clutch pedal. Will a new master cylnder and the drill mod fix both these issues?
a reverse cyllonoid will probably fix the reverse problem. and if you want a new master, get the tick and skip the drill mod, you will never have another hydrolic issue

Before you buy anything check that the solenoid is even plugged in underneath.
to add to billys point, check the fuse for it, mine went bad, and it was just the fuse, was displaying the same symptoms as you describe

Put it in first gear first, then reverse?

I was planning on a tick, just curious why skip the drill mod?

just to be clear, is it hard to get it over to the right? or just forward after it's all the way to the right?
if you go with a tick it includes a new line that has no restriction in it so the drill mod is not necessary, I have one in my car and it's great

I had a similar problem where it took two hands to get the car into reverse, as the reverse lock-out wouldn't disengage. This was solved when Josh removed my trans and realized it had been plugged in incorrectly. Perhaps the previous owner did the same?
Also, I have the Tick master as well. I don't think I could own a T56 car again without one.

Ive made a habbit of doing this, im pretty sure it says to do this in the owners manual.
sounds like your issue may be a bit more serious tho

First to reverse worked better. I need to get a manual...
