I have a 1983 s10. It is lowered 2/3 with drop spindles in the front and 3 inch blocks in the back. The truck has the updated front end with the early 90s late 80s grille. It has a 2.5 inch bolt on fiberglass cowl hood. It has the black and gray interior out of the early 90s late 80s s10/blazer. It has a brand new B&M shifter. Also has a 89 firebird 305 with a th350. installed the motor mounts and all are done motors in the truck and hooked up it was converted to carbed. The battery has been relocated to the bed and has the wires ran up to the front. It does not have any inner fenders the trick has welds on it all the way around with skinnys up front and junk tires on the back. The truck still has to be finished but its all there all the hard stuff has been done and now its just little things that have to be finished only selling the truck because i am getting married in 2 months and could really use the money. as for what it needs.

Needs the transmission lines bent up front the trans to the rad i have a set of straight lines.

Needs an electric or manual fuel pump it has an intake pump that was being ran on a tpi motor but puts out to much pressure to regulate down.

Needs a driveshaft made up the one i have for it is 3 inches to short but i might be getting a driveshaft in the next day or 2.

Will need 2 brackets made up to hold the rad down and will also need an electric fan.

Will need the exhaust plumbed right now it has the headman shorty heads on it and i have 2 new flowmaster 40s for it as well.

Thats everything that i can think of i know its only a few hundred bucks and itd be worth alot more but the soon to be wife will kill me if i put anymore money into it.

Im pretty much just wondering what everyone feels itd be worth before i put it up on craigslist and few different forums for sale. I will try and get pictures posted asap its a nice truck

truck is a shortbed btw

honestly its not worth much.... i paid 3800 for a COMPLETE and PERFECT 87 s10 with a 350/350 combo, lowered, new paint on a perfect body, new interior and some torque thrust rims... v8 swap s10s are pretty common

however it was like 6 years ago now! miss that truck

Id say $1000 to get rid of it quick. List it for $1750 and expect $1400-$1500 when the right person comes along.

i generally agree with this. unless you find the right buyer, which is always possible, a modified vehicle generally reduces resale, not that an 83 s10 has much value or cache now. I'd list for 3k and start hitting cruise nights and such with a for sale sign

I hate to break the news to you but dont expect anyone tell you the thing is worth what you put into it to get it to this point. Its just never gonna happen. And Im not putting it like that to be a dick. Im putting it like that because its the grim reality of loosing interest in a project and trying to dump it.
