Closed for the Weekend due to more flooding

As a result of yet more flooding , Island Dragway will again be closed for the weekend .

Friday Street Legal Drags will be closed....

Saturday- 51st Anniversary Race and King of the Track will be postponed, yet again, until next Saturday, Sept 17th...

Sunday- Ol' Daze Drags will be postponed until Sunday, Sept 18th

As always, all events are weather permitting...

Even after the water subsides ( which isn't going to happen quickl ) and will take days before the track stops weeping water, then they will need to get all the electronics working and power wash the track.

$25 I think. If Island closes I may go to Atco. It's just a much longer drive for me.

One heckuva drive for you considering you're not a hardcore racer looking for one of the fastest times on the east coast...I'd just wait another week

Google maps says 1.5 hours. Island it says is about 1 hour if I take Rt 206 so probably almost the same.
