View Full Version : Anybody see the MASSIVE Flooding in the Flanders area?

They showed the waters coming thru Flanders and it looked just like a TSUNAMI was coming. They say the waters got over 5 feet high in a matter of minutes. On the news it looked like 50 mph river was tearing everything up and washing cars away. The people said there was no warning and it came up so fast there was no time to prepare for it!:shock:

5.3 inches in 3 hours I heard. plus previous rain before that. Yeah it's nuts.
This was Rt 46 in Budd Lake yesterday around 8am

Why do people drive through that? I understand an suv or truck but pook at that car, I had my motor flood in less water than that...

Some people are just idiots and keep driving until the car shuts off. Others know where their intake is and know how to drive slowly to minimize splashing.

funny part of that is, I went through that intersection about 45-30 min prior and it was fine with typical pooling on the sides.
