I love having people drive my car. Since the experience when i first got it is gone. Cool to see everyone elses reaction. I will only offer if i can trust the person. If i can trust the person they can drive it as hard as they want, but i tell everyone don't break it loose.

I usually let my significant other drive my car..if they can handle it with it's quirks. I don't let my friends drive it, but i'll let my dad since his eyes light up when he drives it.

only people that drive my car are people that let me drive there car that performs like mine. all my friends with evos and mustangs and what not have driven my car. my friends that arent into cars that just have regular vehicles will never.

It's a car, bfd. I'd let just about anyone drive it that I'd let drive my daily cars. My wife cannot drive amanual trans or I'd let her drive it.
Here is how to know your car has issues: If you let someone drive it and you have to give them specific instructions "make sure you do x, y, z. if it does this, than press this button twice. and don't touch the red button" lol

I'm the same way. Go ahead and drive either one of them. But if you bust it you have to pay parts/labor to fix it.

Never more than a 30 sec drive for liability reasons.
However, the requirement is that they must have a vehicle of equal or greater capability.
This applies to all the vehicles in my sig.

I don't want to hate someone for messing up my car so I'm picky with who drives it. Gina knows I'm a nut so she just doesn't really care to drive either of my cars (TA scares her anyway). My Dad is allowed to drive any of my stuff along with a few select friends who I know will show proper respect.

I do not blame you in the least regarding the TA. I'm sure that car goes from zero to closed casket funeral in about 3 seconds.

My dad and brother drove my car just after I bought it. Don't think I'd have an issue letting either one of them drive it again. I try to keep my wife as far away as possible, for multiple reasons.

Usually no, although I let my step dad drive it twice.. my brother once (he offered to put gas in it so yes yes), and maybe my friend once (he drives a Z06, GTO, Z28s etc..)
My car - prized possession.
ALLLLLLLTHHHOUUGGHHH I do get to drive everyone elses cars since I'm a valet at a casino.
My dad is the only one I trust to drive my car.

You break it, you bought it. So far no takers. I am also one who would only trust it with those that will respect it and not just joy ride and beat on it. I'll take people for rides in it any day of the week though!

If it wasn't running I might have given it a go. That thing was a ****in monster! hahahaha

The 84 is strictly for me, but I will let my mom or a trusty mechanic drive it. The 99 I wouldn't let just anyone drive it, but its less or an issue. The cobalt was driven over 1000+ miles by my friends and my old Saturn was even more of a whore..

My dad drives my daily driver, whoever wants/needs to could drive it(99 Crown Vic). As for my T/A, so far nobody besides me has driven it or even asked to. My mom has permission to drive it, but other than that. It's on a case by case basis. I'm more than willing to show people what the car is capable of though ;)

Only people to drive it are my dad and mom,but she refuses to drive it now, she did when she was younger, and his old mechanic but man does the mechanic push the car, But thats only because we've known him for 20 years and because if he breaks it,,hes fixing it :)

Matt, does the 84 run right now? I thought you were still working on it.

i really don't like anyone driving my cars. it always seems like you cant get everything back right again. i have people i trust enough but i still don't like it, it takes me what seems like forever to get all the adjustments right again

Yeah..seems things aren't as tight when i get it back..like the steering and such..its bizarre..

Only me and my wife, but since she's afraid of driving it, that just leaves me only allowed to drive it.

I let my father drive it a decent amount, mainly just cause I am always trying to work out deals to drive his much faster GTO. My mom drove it with the 3600 yank stall, Nitto Dr's, and in the snow blizzard that we had. She only fish tailed it 3 times and got stuck once :/
No friends will ever drive it tho.
