It's that time of year again. Winter is rapidly approaching, which usually means the off season for these cars. I know some of you guys brave the winter in these cars, but some of us park them for the winter, or perhaps your car isn't running yet at all! So post up your winter plans for your car. I'll start, listed in descending order of likelihood of actually happening:

1. Fix the slow window problem, and adjust window guides to eliminate rattle
2. Remove old sound deadening from car
3. Install new Door Panels (Much thanks to Keith (Creeper) for picking them up for me
4. Finish bolting in passenger seat
5. Install new rearview mirror
6. Purchase and install blendmount for Scangauge
7. Relocate battery to the trunk
8. Repair and install old LED taillights

That's it for me really. If I can manage to secure some funding, I have some other mods queued for Spring including bodywork, a rollbar, and new headlights with retrofitted projectors.

I don't have much planned but will prob do the following:

- New front suspension (adj. shocks, etc)
- Upgrade the front brakes
- Finish a few cosmetic details on the car.
- Have my shift knob wrapped/stitched to match the new boot and other custom leather pieces.

I may get the car repainted next year but we will see.

To get rear in the car, take it to atco before it closes, get kicked off the track again and then start saving for a roll bar. lol.

I might make new door panels for it and get new seats that I've been wanting for a bit. Take the K member out, a arms and some other suspension **** and have it re-powder coated. Seems that it is flaking off after a few years.

We'll see what else. Nothing else major needs to be done to the car as of now. I think I covered most of that. Now it is just **** to make it better IMO for myself.

Gonna let the car sit in the driveway all winter with a broken 10 bolt. Hopefully working all winter will lead to me having a 9 inch by the spring. Besides that I may work on cleaning up the engine bay and interior a little bit. Nothing crazy.

Edit: BLS headlights too

99 is getting ai 243's, camshaft and ls6 intake, hopefully will have enough for a tick stage 3 trans and have my clutch and tick master cylnder installed. Maybe a torque arm or sfc's will make the budget but I doubt it..

84 is getting demoded, possibly a partial part out

Edit
TA and SFC's made the budget thanks to black Friday.

89 formula is sitting in my driveway with an all weather car cover till it gets a new engine rebuild probably in january or february. 86 i'm planning on getting that black spray to seal underneath that they put on truck beds. It already had it done at one point, but it's wearing and chipping off now
The 86 is going to brave the winter weather and snow until the 89 is up and running again =)

Explorer: Drive it & wash it
Camaro: Uncover it occasionally so I remember what it looks like. Oil change in the spring.

Nothing exciting car-wise, just the same as it is every year. Only exciting news is on the water-front
97: Fixed reverse bucket
08: Finish de-stickering. Some engine and some hull mods were done a month ago.

Being that my car has been down since july of 2010 with a broken rear and no place to really fix it, step A would is to find a garage. Next order of business would be:

1. Install 12 bolt
2. Buy and install aftermarket fuel pump while rear is out, drain out old gas
3. install leather seats/door panels/ new console lid
4. Install headers, ory, poly motor and trans mounts, new plugs and wires, new exhaust or add a couple mufflers to the current one
5. Install new struts/springs
6. Install TR 230/224 cam, valve springs, etc.
7. Get front and rear bumpers repainted, install stripes
8. Get tires for my new wheels and install
9. New battery since I'm a tool and never disconnected it when I parked the car. Oil change and have it ready just in time for spring.

Oh, and a tune.

Hopefully the exploder will get a new owner and I'll end up with a Silverado.

Finish the race car and the T/A DD. Race car just needs the fuel system plumbing finished, some 102mm ductwork and tuning. T/A needs me to finish swapping the valvesprings on the replacement engine, then I need to drop it in. Other engine is ready to come out, just the motor mount through bolts holding it in. The 68 can wait another year for me to get time to work on it.

First order of business: FINALLY rewire the garage with a sub panel so that I can run a few 30 amp outlets and FINALLY use the brand new 60 gallon air compressor I bought months ago that until now has taken up space while I stared at it. The rewiring is already in progress.

Once that's done, there will be a TON of media blasting and painting/powder coating of suspension parts and the rear axle. The car has slowly been stripped of parts over the past several years and is FINALLY ready for the new floor panels to be welded in. If these tasks are completed, I am hoping to FINALLY have a roller.

Of course, all of this rests on whether or not I FINALLY have time to work on all of this, so chances are, I'll do nothing again but daydream about finishing this project...let alone starting it.
