Anyone can post one photograph of only their Camaro or Firebird in this thread. Photographs of multiple cars or cars with models will not be accepted.

Please include your name and a short paragraph (at least a few sentences) describing the ongoing project(s) being done to the car and/or a short story about the car as well.

If this is not posted in this thread by the time voting begins, your car will not be included in the vote.

All submitted pictures should be a minimum size of 640 x 480, as this is the size of the image that will be posted on the home page. If you aren't sure of the size, post it up the largest image you have (within reason), or send a private message to me for assistance.

At the last week of the month we will post a poll that will last for one week and the winner will get to spend the following month showcased on the home page of the site. Past winning cars (regardless of ownership changes) will not be eligible to enter again for 24 months.

Please limit this thread to posts submitting pictures only. Comments and other chit-chat will be removed and offending users will be penalized.

Name: Chris R.
Car: 1987 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z

I purchased this car in the summer of 2005. It was a stock 350 TPI/700R4 with some basic bolt ons... I envisioned a supercharged street machine with daily driver manners. After a 2 year nightmare with a (cough cough) "performance shop" that could not handle the build, the car was shipped to Josh at JS Performance. He did an excellent job of building both the motor and tranny. I am proud to drive this as often as possible, and show everyone how awesome a 3rd gen can truly be.

Motor: JS built 355 w/ Vortech (V-2) Supercharger, Edelbrock Performer Aluminum Heads, SRP Forged Pistons, Scat Rods, full Roller Valvetrain, Lingenfelter Super-Ram Intake, 1000 CFM throttle body...Edelbrock shorty headers to Magnaflow Catback

Tranny: JS built 700R4/9.5 Vigilante Stall Converter

Suspension: Spohn torque arm & lower control arms, Edelbrock Panhard bar, Eibach springs, Hawk pads...more I'm forgetting

Appearance: (Exterior) Daytona Iroc Cowl Hood, Billet grille, Silverstar Headlights, Diamond Clear parking lamps, Clear turn signals, Blackout taillights, tint (Interior) Nordskog Digital Gauges on dash and A-pillar triple pod, 1997 Camaro Seats front & back, Grant steering wheel

Has been my project for a couple years now. I dont know when I will ever finish it. Its a 383 with a accel superram, afr heads, and a tpis cam. 9" edge racing converter. Suspension and brakes are all new from the ground up with two sets of subframe connectors.

Ive owned it for a little over 10 years now, has 90k miles. It was TBI, then TPI, now carb'd 305, still deciding on a new motor. 96Z black leather interior and a nice stereo was added inside. Outside the car was repainted Artic White by the previous owner (was originally a darker white) I added 92 ground effects, IROC grille, C5Z wheels and some vinyl. Currently has a black 2inch steel cowl hood also.

1999 firebird formula ls1/t56.
I found this car a couple miles away from a vacation spot I frequent just days after I had returned from the very spot. A few weeks later the car was still for sale so I put a $500 deposit on it on my 20th birthday it was mine. It ran a 14.4@104 spinning and having the slowest shifts ever due to trans problems. The car is awaiting advanced induction heads and camshaft which will be here any day, other additions will be spohn suspension and a viperized t56, heavy duty driveshaft and a rear.
