The fun began at my Christmas party....
(Thanks to Tim for finding the wooden deer and all the branches from my neighbors yards)

Now its just fun whenever I have something I need to burn...or its cold outside and alcohol is plentiful....

A fitting goodbye for my old hat....

Not really sure what I had burned here... copper something I'm guessing, maybe the wiring for the radar detector I threw in.

I kinda forgot I had thrown a road flare in the burn box...

Gasoline makes fire go everywhere... Had the pool on fire too a few times... oops.

And this all started with my desire for a burn barrel to destroy old paperwork and documents with name and addresses. I ended up finding an old concrete mixing tub in my backyard which worked out fine, its like 2 feet wide by 4 feet long. Biggest flames so far were maybe 7 feet high. Too bad the next day our cars in the driveway on the other side of the house were covered in ashes...

I love fires. In NY we had a ton of logs to burn that were left over from this Cabin build:
