Just a few pictures of the new 2012 Chevy Equinox LT that I purchased from Flemington Chevrolet. The color is Mocha Steel Metallic with a Jet Black interior. I know these vehicles are not too exciting to see or hear about, but having 2 kids to travel to (one is in North Carolina and the other in Freehold) and tired of getting out of the rear in my wife's Grand Prix Coupe, and trunk space was limited. It is the 4-cylinder 184 hp motor which moves it around OK and it gets 32 mpg on the highway. It's very comfortable and has all the features you could want, except I would have liked the 264 hp V/6 with the duals and the 19" chrome wheels, but hell it's an SUV and I needed a hauler.

That color is awesome. We just bought a new Tahoe from Flem Chevy and were gonna get that color but we wanted the beige interior.

Yeah, I got a long ride in the dark blue LTZ we have. The 6-cylinder and the chrome wheels were really nice:drool:, but I had a strict budget that did not allow for too many goodies. How's your new position?

Good luck with your new ride! I test drove the v6 and was underwhelmed with the power, I can't imagine what the 4 is like!

Looks eriely familiar my friend. Just a note we were banging our heads on a stalling issue w/the 2.4l...turns out its a run of faulty oil sensors. Also when they first start, they may sound a bit loud or hear a rattling type noise...equi's use an emmensely pressurized fuel pump attached to the head/manifold area (as well as a rear pump ..something like 2k pounds of pressure)...this will be where that odd noise is coming from..quiets down after a few seconds. Good luck w/it and don't rant too much on getting to the oil cartridge filter w/a wrench..worst location ever but i'll tell you what i do if you have issues.

Only 2 things we did so far was do the denali grill insert (which is a must) and tint the side front windows.

Thanks, We got the 1LT which has the back-up camera, but the Pioneer Sound System. Do wish I could swing the V/6, but the better gas mileage does offset it somewhat. The grill does look awesome, how much?

I think the grill was $180ish...real heavy duty stainless...nice mounting hardware...no discoloration yet and has been on for 6months. I think the pioneer/remote start/power seat was a 2lt option or something like that...wanted that remote start for the wife for those cold morning as the garage is dedicated for other 'things'.

Congrats guys, glad to see you like them. The 2.4 wasn't bad, I wanted a bit more torque.
I really wish they had the 2.0T available over the 3.0.
