I have decided to sell my ATS Tall AFX spindles. I bought them, but have other things going on and I decided that I am never going to use them.
These are new and never been on a car. They also come with the steering arms which are $259.
Here is a link to them at Speedtech, #ATS 30001 A (http://www.speedtechperformance.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=187/category_id=242/home_id=-1/mode=prod/prd187.htm)
Here is what it says about the AFX spindles;
The all-new forged aluminum AFX spindle is the most advanced front suspension piece available for your muscle car. ATS took an entirely new approach to improving the less than optimal factory suspensions of the A, F, and X body GM platforms by scratch designing the focal point of the front geometry. Designed to fit the 64-72 A body, 67-69 F body, and 68-74 X body platforms, the spindle is forged out of ultra strong, lightweight 6061 T6 aircraft spec aluminum and is available in 2 versions; stock and tall. The tall spindle radically improves the vehicles handling characteristics by transforming the camber gain, while the stock version does not affect the geometry already in place. Highly modernized C5 Corvette sealed hub assemblies bolt to the spindles with a one-inch ride height drop, while the larger bearing pack offers higher load capacity, individual wheel speed sensors, and wheel fitment that does not alter the track width or bolt pattern of the vehicle. Requiring no fabrication or modifications to install, the AFX spindle bolts directly in place of the OEM assembly to either factory or aftermarket tubular control arms. Following late model engineering, brake packages from the C5/C6 Corvette bolt directly to the spindle from multiple manufacturers, including Baer, AP Racing, Touring Classics and others. Steering arms bolt to the spindle to make use of factory linkage or steering rack kits, but with revised geometry to bring bump steer numbers down to nearly zero.
A/G body cars require ATS steering arms and with our upper control arms to prevent ball joint bind, sold seperately.
Features include:
- Tall spindle improves negative camber gain under suspension load
- Forged from ultra lightweight, exceptionally strong 6061 T6 aluminum
- Uses sealed C5 Corvette hub assembly with integrated wheel speed sensors
- Press-in hardened aluminum ball joint inserts prevent wear and fatigue
- Revised bolt-on steering arm location improves bump steer
- Direct bolt-on spindle replacement for A-F-X body vehicles
- One inch ride height drop for lowered look
I am selling these for $1,200 plus shipping. This is a $1,458 package from Speedtech new. Paypal is the preferred method of payment, but I will accept USPS money orders.
Even though the part number is for Chevelle, these will work on the 2nd gen Camaro as they have the same and proper (as Camaro) taper for the upper and lower ball joints.
