Can anybody tell me which fuel line disconnect tool I should get for an LT1 fuel rail. I saw a bunch different ones. Also, does anybody have any ideas on what to use or how to remove and clean these injectors before swapping them.

By the way, my friend polished this fuel rail. Not sure if you can tell by picture but it looks amazing. Going to swap out mine for it.

The injectors are held to the rail by clips. You take a small pick and pull the tab off of the rail on one side then the other. Its simple once you look at it.

Ya, I took them off already. I was curious if there was a way i can clean them off the car without hooking up power to them or the ultrasonic bath deal.. Like if it would be worth it to spray both sides with carb and choke cleaner or something.

Might as well, shouldn't hurt. Its either that or send them out for proper cleaning.
i cleaned sugar deposits out of mine years back every 1000 miles by using an old home dental water-pik. lol

http://www.witchhunter.com/ is who I used. I was very pleased. They clean, rebuild, and flow test each one.
Edit- prices went up though. It's $21 per injector.

Ha, something like that. THanks for the find. I always wanted a machine to ultrasonically clean my bifocals.
