Some of you saw my posts that I was looking for a truck, which lead to my 99 Durango that I got for 1100 with 106k, lots of rust...then I sold it 3 weeks later for 1700, then I was looking for a gas saver so I didn't spend much in gas as I was trying pay off my credit cards before I went to get a loan to finance a car. Some things went well with work and I paid them off quickly and went and got this!

Nice car. The goats definitely grew on me after a few years. Out of curiosity, how much can you pick one of this up for now?

Their all over the place in price range, the LS1's i've seen for as low as 11-12ish and up, the LS2's I've seen with 60k+ 15 to 18ish, and the lower miles a few I've seen as high as 21. I'm sure you can get a great deal on which ever one you want if you look around, im justing giving the numbers I saw when I was looking. Which was a big detterant to buy one before I found mine.

You know if replacement parts are expensive or not on these cars? Curious how much these cars cost to keep running.

Aside from the suspension being a pile of crap. They are cheap enough if ya do your own work. I've had mine now for over 5 years and still love the car. The only real big things that went were common ****. Throw out bearing, water pump, radiator and the battery. I'm not including brakes, oil changes and normal maintenance tho.

I love it. How does the power feel compare to a fbody with the same mods? My cousin got one right as I graduated hs and they were new enough to to finance and I started looking for one but apparently the only color combo I wanted is extremely rare.

Don't forget the ****** support bearing on the driveshaft.

By "suspension being a pile of crap" you mean in design or it wears poorly?

Before I bought my cruze I looked at some used stuff, including GTOs. OP is right, prices are all over the place. But I did not want a high mileage one or an accident case. I ran into that with G8s too. Plus no more Pontiac means less value to me. BTDT, I passed on dead nameplates. After that I ran out of used cars I liked lol.

Wears poorly. After about 20k most of it is shot. Especially the struts and shocks. After rebuilding mine, it was a totally different car. And yes I drove the car when when it had less than 5k on it when Alex bought the car new.
