pull the ecm up out of the way, theres a hole to snake it thru down there

Yeah and the ecm is on the passenger side along with the batter junction block. Two 10mm bolts hold it in place, lift it out and set it to the side. There are a few spots to ground to. I usually clean the paint off of the stud/mount for the rear seat belt's shoulder mount. If you take the plastic off, you will see it.

I ran my power wire to the rubber grommet in the passenger side floor pan. As long as the grommet is snug around the wire and the wire is clear of moving parts/exhaust pipes it will be fine. Mine has been like that for almost a year and a half now.

just make sure to run RCAs AWAY from power and ground wires

not to jack the tread but why do you run the rca away from the power cables interference? how close is too close

Yes, it causes Interference, I would guess try to keep half inch between RCA's and power wire. I think it depends on the gauge of the power wire. I used to run them together under the carpet next to driver seat and just made sure they didn't touch and I never had interference.. I haven't done any big audio stuff in years though.

I just run power down one side of the car and RCAs down the other side. No worries about interference that way :)

That is the best way to do the wiring. But the newer cars may have additional, smaller power wires - so keep as far away as you can from them too.

What about using shielded cables? They help also...

yup! exactly

power wire down the drivers side, rca's down the passsenger side (or visa-versa) and then for ground wire.. well it depends where your amp is. you can run it to a bolt inside/underneath one of the plastic iner rear walls, you can run it easily to the bolt/mount for one of the LOWER parts of the rear bucket seats, or put your own bolt in, etc. sand/grind off all paint and primer before making the connection as well
