Saw this beast on my way in to work today.....

It's hard to see in the pic, but the driver's side rear quarter looks a bit dented up. Not sure if that's from the awesome woodwork, or if it was rear-ended, and this was the owner's solution to pocket some insurance money.

mmmmm... im not sure how killing those trees to make that bumper will go over at the Prius meets.

I wanna know how well the hatch seals....would be interesting to get a good look at it and see how everything was attached.

I get a woodie just looking at that. Now he just has to buy 5 gallons of Porch & Deck sealer to keep out the termites.

Hate those cars....hate this one even more. Hope during bouts of extreme humidity the wood swells soo much they can't open the doors.

have to admit the guy did a decient job. i wonder how much weight that added to the back end and how much less gas mileage they lost

The driver was a woman who looked to be in her mid-late 20s, and the wood definitely had some sort of sealer on it.

Photos were taken in Princeton, heading northbound on Rt 1 at the intersection of 1 and 571 (Washington Rd). Maryland plates though, and I didn't notice any obvious college parking permit stickers, so could just be in town for the holiday weekend.

Original, half decent job. You really cant make a Prius look worse anyway.
