here is my new car it is a 1971 chevelle. this is a car i have known since new, it was my friends grandmother then my bosses car. she owned it until her passing a few years ago her daughter and husband kept the car. while it is in decent shape ( it might need a quarter ) it has been in no accidents and only driven to church. it has only 41,253 miles on it, unfortunately it has been kept outside and needs some tlc. it runs great with a 307 backed up with a power-glide. black interior bench seat, ac and power brakes. i should have it home tomorrow.

Nice.....keep it original...corvette 8" rally's are fine...no cowl hood or stripes. Very few original ones left as everyone is taking these and turning them into ss clones.

I agree, It's a beautiful car as is. I'm tired of seeing the SS clones myself.

Chicks dig bench seats!

no clones for me, a set of rims and possible 350 or ?. interior is too nice to change and i like black, and i told my wife she will enjoy the bench seat.

Nice. I had a 71 El Camino a few years ago. For some reason 71 was my favorite year. I still have a few parts laying around for it if your interested.

update, i stopped by an old friends yesterday i had given him my 350 that i had built for my truck. he still has it while it needs a rebuild but at least i can have it back, i had put 300 hp heads on it out of the gm perf book along with flat tops an edelbrock cam and had it bored 30 over. while its been 22 years since i have touched it at least it is a one piece rear seal, i believe it was out of a police car but that doesnt matter it is a 4 bolt main. hmmm how to tell the wife.
