View Full Version : 98-02 conversion headlight plug

my car had the front end swap done but i dont have the 98-02 male end of the headlight plug.. is there a way to hard wire it or am i better off just getting the correct plug? please help!

any parts store will sell the pigtail for the headlights. most of the time it is not vehicle specific, just specific to what headlight you have. for example if u have a 9006 bulb you would go there and ask for the pigtail for that bulb.

def dont hardwire it, ull be regretting it when u have to change the bulb next time

The 98-02 birds use a weird connector but hopefully a part store will have it. You could just try and convert it but you will need to find the right female pin retainers to securely attached to the new lights.

Napa part number - low beam connector- "EC980", high beam connector- "EC1203". if u dont use a Napa most other places have to ability to cross reference

if you mean the wide grey connector that goes to the headlight motor itself with the green weather seal PM me, I have a set from a part out
