what are we looking at in the pic? a damaged egr hose, the upper rad hose off, or...?

if the head gasket went and oil is getting into coolant, it wont smoke. it only makes white smoke when coolant gets into the cylinder(a different type of failure of the head gasket)

yup. Head gaskets can leak a few different ways. But oil looking like chocolate milk is usually a tell tale sign that the head gasket is done

Since no one else mentioned it, don't run it anymore.

How long did it overheat and how hot did it get? Could just be dexcool turning into diarrhea.

Agreed with Sweetbmxrider; My dexcool looked like dookie since I got it years ago. Never had an overheating issue though, even at the track and on long road trips.

Maybe try draining the oil into a jar and see if it seperates? I would certianly not run it.

After you repair whatever is leaking I would change the oil a few times. I did headgaskets on a car with coolant in the oil and I had to change the oil a few times before it came out clean. I used cheapy oil, got the engine hot changed the oil and repeated 2 or 3 times.

i figured out it was the cruise control thing

it was only in the red for a couple seconds i turned the car off while i was driving and pulled over

If its blown its blown. the fix is to change the gasket. there are products that claim to buy you time on a bad head gasket but they tend to do more damage than good. A head gasket is not THAT difficult. It is time consuming and tedious and you might as well do both. The biggest hope is that the heads or the block didn't warp cause then you are going to need machine work
