My car recently started stuttering while maintaining speed, and wont exceed 3200 rpm. I have done a complete tune up, and tested just about everything under the hood. I noticed that the injector for cyl 7 is not pulsing and after checking the Ohms, I determined that the injector is still good. Could it be a bad ground or power wire to the injector?

Parts swapped out:
dist cap/rotor
Ignition control module
plugs
oil pressure sensor
coolant temp
alternator
fuel pressure regulator
Ignition coil

I doubt any of those parts being swapped out would have cause this, but I haven't ruled out the possibility.

Based on the wiring diagram, all the injectors connect to a pair of wires. + to the fuse and - to the ecu

Yea if its just bank firing, you could swap the injector and injector harness clip and see if the problem follows.

I have a node lamp I use to test the wiring/connector, if the wiring and computer are good the lamp will flash when the injector is supposed to pulse.

You could also listen to the injector, use a long extension or one of those stethoscope tools and compare how a few of the injectors sound. It will be a very noticeable change from a good injector to a bad injector.

Thank you, i will check it out. what should the voltage be at the harness for the injectors?

It seems like either the harness itself is bad or the 2 wires connecting to the other 4 is bad for that injector. I ohm tested the injector and it was around 16, but when i tested the harness it showed very low voltage.
