As a fundraiser for UBG, we will be having a poker run/car cruise on June 10th, time TBD but probably around 11 am. We will be starting at Rutgers Stadium and heading west along the Delaware River, and ending up in the Hamilton area. This is open to ANY vehicle so start spreading the word around.
Mark your calendars now, and anyone who is willing to volunteer to be at one of the stopping points to hand out cards please message me.
Cost will be $20 per car, and all proceeds will go to defraying the cost of treatment for Bob's wife.
Come on out to have a great time with your car/bike/truck, and help out a local car guy and NJFBOA member!

I would just like to underscore that this is open to any type of vehicle.
So Camaro, Firebird, Mustang, Evo, Porsche, Robosaurus, etc. As long as it's plated and insured.

We don't care if you don't. We aren't responsible for any police issues, obviously.

Sure!
There is an established route with some stops every few miles. At each stop you get a card. At the final stop you have collected enough cards to make a poker hand, and the best hand wins a prize.
You do not need to follow the route but you need to make it to the stops by a particular deadline to be in the contest.

N if the automotive gods are smiling I might even show up in a certain blue "Mustang." Lol But if not I have offers to be shotgun seat pimp in some cool F bodskies. :)

I gotta tell ya'll...that smile that I have in the pict with Bad Chevelle Jon is still on my face! Even though I was only able to make the morning send off, it was an incredible day! I got 2 rides in Brain's 700+ HP TA, saw a bunch of good friends from back in the day, and made a bunch of new friends. And I also reaffirmed within myself that I will ALWAYS be a car guy! Man, every machine that was there gave me a rise! 8-) And it was very special to hang with those fine dudes from the motorcycle club. I have a big spot in my heart reserved for vets, especially those who served in 'Nam. I'm proud to have served this great country, but nothing I ever went through can hold a candle to what those Warriors went through. So God bless them, and God bless all you fine motorhead guys and gals who made this such a wonderful day for me! After Brain dropped me off at my car, I cranked up "Born to Run," and was so thankful to be able to do the day "Jersey Style!" Or more so CENTRAL Jersey style!
Thanks again, brothers and sisters!!!!!!!!

Glad you had a good time up there Bob, wish I could have made it to the start to say hi (my youngest was up half the night with high fever, wasn't getting out of the house early today for anything - he's much better now though). I got to see everyone at Uno's and the group was thrilled that they could be there to help you out Bob.
