Like the thread says. Need to get a sticker on my '98. Has high flow cats and headers, OBD-II plug in readiness tests are complete. No codes.

PM me if needed. Thanks!

If you have cats and no codes, you can go to any DMV station - you shouldn't fail. There is no safety inspection any more, so if you have tinted windows, no front plate, or any other BS, they won't fail you.

Nah, none of that. I'm just worried about the longtube headers. No tinted windows, no codes, front plate is there, etc.

Uh on OBD 2 vehicles I want to say DMV will only plug into the computer to see if it throws codes and do a tail pipe sniff.
I know OBD 1 gets checked for cats (visually) and gets the tail pipe sniffer.

I got to do the formula this month ...obd1 though....still worried enough though...lol. You should be fine w/the longtubes + cats imo.

Go to Flemington. I made it through with long tubes, no egr or air. And I got a tailpipe test.

This is wrong. No tail pipe test for an OBD II vehicle. Only OBD I gets that. Both cars will get a visual test (driving over a camera) but many state run inspection places only look for cats.

Went to a local private inspection station. Cost a whopping $12, breezed right through. They looked under for cats, plugged in the OBD-II, pasted on the new sticker.
