Im always on the look out for new hibachi places to try, in the past couple months, ive gone to Ota-Ya in lambertville, Mahzu in east windsor, and a couple chain places.. what im looking for is; BYOB, good/quality food, a younger crowd/atmosphere, and I want to be entertained... also the chef must squirt sake at people, that is a make or break for me... any recommendations that fit this criteria in the west central/bucks county area?

Yutaka in Somerville is good. When I was there the chef did the squirt bottle of sake thing. It is BYOB, and 1/2 price sushi Mon-Wed if you are in to that.

Didn't know there was a hibachi restaurant in Lambertville; I'll have to check that out one of these coming weekends.

We usually do Shogun in Greenbrook or Yutaka in Somerville. Shogun's downfall is the place is dated and a but grungy. Yutaka's downfall is they only give you rice OR noodles, not both (my huge pet peeve of hibachi joints) You can order either as a side though.

Really never been to horrible one.

Def on my top 3 of places to eat.

Flemington was prob the worse one i've been to.

Matsuba in Hillsborough is where I usually go. Awesome food, but I can't remember if they do the sake spray or not. I usually skip the entertainment.

When I lived in Sayreville I lived around the corner from Arirang on Rt 9 and that place is always packed, has great food and does a lot of over the top stuff, sake included. They also have a decent bar and tvs.
