okk so i know everyone has their own opinions about the lt1 & ls1 4th gens but what is the main differences between the cars

A lot. Engine, transmission stuff, exterior, emissions systems, brake systems, interior stuff, etc. You may want to gust google it.

lol i know the dies in the motors but i meant is there any major things other the that i know the front end and interior are changed but other things

electrical systems were updated too (digital odometers, etc)

Late 97 started getting the digi odometers and updated interior.

yeah 97 basically has a LS cars interior with a LT1 engine. I have nothing against a LT or a TPI but the LS definatly makes more power and it much more receptive to mods

LT1's are faster than LS1's mod for mod. They have more bottom end torque and better feel from the driverseat. It's really a shame they didn't drop one into the new Corvette ZR1.
