Sounds like a good time!
He brought it over and it's def nice. The rear tire is 3 lines away from being a smoothie. Cool lower exhaust and no frame!

Quite a piece of technology. Ducati took a huge chance with the frameless design using the motor like they did. I would love to own one, but they are going for a pretty penny.

$21,000.00 with electronic suspension. (dealer doesn't even have any)
He had a 2008 1198 with a $5000.00 exhaust that he traded in. 12k miles in perfect shape and prob nver over 90mph. Dealer gave him $8000.00:facepalm:

I had hit up a Ducati dealership in North Jersey while I was on pre-deployment to get some info on the bike. I knew they wouldn't hit the dealerships for some time, but the sales man gave me some pretty sweet promotional stuff for the bike. If your a Duc fan and always wanted an 848 or 1098, 1198 now is the time. People will be trading their garage queens in and the price should drop significantly. If I was in the market I would love to jump on a used 1098 if they weren't such ergonomic torture racks! Such beautiful bikes
