I dont know if this is the new fad of webjacking, but whenever i do a google search it always seems to point me to some ****** IP address with links to the yellow pages or some other 3rd party site and not the intended target, I already ran adaware, spybot, and reloaded a fresh firefox and it still seems to be happening, any thought?

Try AVG. Use the business version trial, not the free one. Do a full, deep system scan.
Adaware and spybot haven't worked for me in quite some time.

I keep getting redirected to googleads.g.doubleclick.net when surfing the web. When you go to click back in your browser it makes it look like you aren't changing pages. I haven't found a fix for it yet but have tried quite a few things.

There's a virus that was doing the same thing on my buddies computer a month ago. Try what WBT said. If that doesn't work try the free housecall software from Trend Micro. He had Norton 360 on his cpu at the time and it couldn't even detect the virus. I ended up removing his HD and installing it in a remote drive setup and cleaning it from my computer.

Norton/Symantec is a joke. We have their corporate endpoint protection and the thing is like a commercial virus itself.

I wonder if it's some scam with Google itself - I have the same deal on my computer. What's another good search engine?
I had that issue with google a few months ago, i did or changed something and it stopped. ever since the day you made this thread, ive been trying to remember what, but i can't.

For kicks, I started using Yahoo to search for stuff, and I still get those re-directed listings. Anyone else got ideas?

what browser are you using?
and i usually use combofix to remedy any problems that come out, that will probably fix it, but im worried its a site i frequent that may be flipping this thing on

I just realized you posted a response, was away for a few days. Anyway, I just use IE. The redirected searches go to a site called googledoubleclicks - was that the same crap you had? FWIW, I also ran Malware Bytes, and while it did quarantine and delete one thing, I still get the googledoubleclicks a couple times a day.

I had this... I used one of the three - but I don't remember which one lol.
Malware, TDSSKiller or ComboFix. I am about 60% sure it was TDSSKiller, 30% sure it's ComboFix and about 10% Malware.
