I'm not good with older cars but it looked like a 69 camaro. Pretty rusty, looked like it had been parked in the same spot for awhile.

It was a '69 Camaro. And I'd bet $100 it was a "trap" project.

trap project?

trap project?

Yes. One where it looks like it's a steal, or a great jumping off point, but in reality it needs every panel, new frame rails, every suspension part, a brand new drivetrain, new wiring and lines... basically a complete overhaul to the tune of $30k plus. Where it's cheaper to just buy one already running for $15k-18k and be ahead of the game.

I can tell by how it sits that it has rear frame problems.

And it probably has no title. And Broadway is under investigation.

True. I can see scrapers snatching it up instantly though. I had one contact me off Craigslist today. Man wanted anything he could make a a few quarters off of.

I'd still take that car though, just to set it aside as a 20 year project... And still finish before BigAl's swap!

Oddly enough, I'd take it only to part or scrap it.

I would take it and see how bad it is and go from there. I mean its free. even a rat trap 69 camaro is worth something

If it had a vin cowl plate attached it is always worth something

I'd have scooped that up w/o a thought.

I woulda filled it up with metal and made $6-700 easy. Or if I fell in love, rat rod.
