Some 4th gens have an issue with the outer door skin separating from the main shell.
The passenger door has started on the latch side and I'm wondering if its better to fix or to replace. And if I fix it, how exactly should I go about it and what product should be used, like a basic epoxy? Replacing it would involve gutting the whole door, swapping internals and repaint.
On the Drivers side door, there/s damage to the outer skin where it lifted and cracked. Obviously its gonna need paint work regardless if I repair or replace, but I was wonder if I do repair it, Do I just use a standard body filler on the composite or would I use a fiberglass resin filler. Does the repair need to be flexible in any way on the composite doors? I'll probably just replace the door entirely though.
