I so miss my blackberry, which managed multiple email accounts perfectly. This POS that came with my phone will sometimes get emails immediately, sometimes get them 24 hours later. Even if I hit refresh. Even though the automated refresh is set to 5 minutes. and it doesn't synch with my home email client (Thunderbird) - like sent emails, etc. Or if I deleted an email on my BB that wasn't delivered home yet, it got deleted from my account and never sent. Now I have to delete crap twice
so are there any good email programs out there for droid? right now I have whatever piece of junk samsung shipped this phone with.

Try Touchdown. Worked well when I was using it for work emails but not sure if it syncs others.

There's K-9 and maildroid. Both are free. One will work better than the other depending on what phone you have. Never can tell.

Some of that has got to be server settings.
What servers are you trying to sync? Exchange?

no exchange, although I am not an expert on any of this. verizon, yahoo, njfboa. all seem to be equally PITA. i thought for a while it had to do with if I left thunderbird open. but this week I was away and my computer was shut off and I still had issues

Touchdown.
I hate paying for apps, but even I think its well worth the 20 bucks.

There are other ways to obtain apps for a much cheaper cost....

One option would be to have Verizon and njfboa pushed to your Yahoo, and download the yahoo app. I have three email accounts on my Gmail, and I do the same thing. Works flawlessly. Gives me a label saying which account it is from and replies to that email from that same account through Gmail. I'm nearly certain Yahoo has the same capabilities.
