North Jersey Meet?

So im a newer/returning member, Im from sussex and I would like to host a meet, Everyone is welcome but I figure only the north jersey crew would be down for it. I am a member of the sussex elks and they have a good size parking lot for this to happen, Also a bar(over 21 obv) and a pool table. Am I allowed to do this? Also when would be good for people?

Think a camaro club has a meet at the sonic on 46e on tuesday nights...a little far from you but worth checking out to see if there people that attend are closer to your. I'd be down for a few meets if you get the ball rollling but to my knowledge, there isn't many members in our neck of the woods let alone running f/bodies.

Best bet is to decide on a venue, time, place and post it up. Worse thing to do is suggest, then the thread will just get cluttered w/opinions. If you have a few guys up by you that are already committed that is all you need to get started...just make it the same time each month/week/etc to avoid confusion...and post pics up. I'll try and make the 1st one if it doesn't conflict w/work.

I may be down, lets me get out of the house. I used to shoot a good game too......been awhile. I don't know how far you're shooting for a "north" crew. But here are some names if you want to try getting word out. Along with those who popped in on here.

myself with my 84 under construction and the GTA you saw the other day in Andover.

I know there are more people than it seems. Not everyone is a meet kind of person. But that should give you an idea of how many of us are nearby. Not everyone has running cars though, I know a member who has a fleet of third gens, but only a couple run. He is not a fan of meets though he may show. Anyway if you can get a bunch of us together there are enough members around that it could be sustained. Just remember, for those coming from areas towards the city, traffic will be a real bitch during week days coming up this way during rush hour. I will probably be at the Chatterbox the remaining Saturday cruise nights (weather pending), if you want to discuss ideas further.

i just moved up to Roxbury Nj .. right off rt 46 and rt 10. also by rt 80. so im up towards that area where you are alll talking about meetin up. depending on my work schedules. ill try to make some of the meets.

Where at? I grew up in Roxbury, right off Rt 46... I currently reside on Eyland Ave.

im on Roxbury Drive. right off of South Dell Ave. bought a house that was completley renovated and its awesome. my neighbors are reall cool too (retired welder, a few cops, guy who works for dpw, my kinda peope) one of my projects is to really improve the detached oversized 1 car garage. (insulation, sheetrock, shelves, floor coating, electric lines, etc) cant wat to get that done and work on the car in my own garage instead of in driveways and parking lots of years past.

we still are moving in, lotta boxes and stuff all over, but once i get settled i'll see if peope in the area want to come by or go out for a burger or beers. im hoping to get to a LOT more car events and club activities in 2013 now that i'm finally in a place i can settle down into

Very rarely... Im only up there on Mondays when I pick up Kittantiny Lakes and/or Crystal Springs which is probably once every 2 months. I dump at MCMUA in Mt Olive Mon-Thurs and the Warren County Incinerator on Fridays.

Ah alright. I work for Stillwater DPW and run all the garbage from the town's recycling center to the MUA on Monday.

The Sonic is on Route 46East in Totowa. It's open 24 hours. The best time to cruise their is around 12-1 am. A Late night cruise their would be killer if we were all bookin down together. But I'm gonna be down and out for another month or so. Hoping to be done before February.
