All this talk about street racing, Figured I'd post this up. This clown is lucky he crashed in the flattest street on the planet..If this was the streets by my house, he'd be a memory.

"should we stop!?"
"no f*** that guy"
:kneeslap:
The Nissan GTR that was filming, made a legal passing maneuver and returned to his lane just as the dotted line ended. After that point, the lines on the road are solid on that side and are a clear warning that passing beyond that point is unsafe. The GTR that crashed was just stupid and got what he deserved. Ever notice on passing zones on bends that the inner lane has solid while the outside lane can pass... its common safety sense. Passing lanes and where you are allowed to and not allowed to ARE put there for a reason.

I am fairly certain that it's technically illegal to break the speed limit passing people...

If IIRC you are allowed to go 10 over to pass in the left lane in a two lane road.

I dunno man. I think speeding is still speeding?

you do have a point, I was mainly just saying that passing where the lines clearly prohibit it is a bad idea, even without going over the speed limit

BIG TIME. I know a guy who died because of a blind-ish curve that way.

yeah sure, stupidity is a key factor in this accident. knowing the road or not really doesnt have anything to do with it. driving involves common sense. this is a clear case of not having any. obviously, his showboating and compensating for something caused this crash. i drive around a 1000 miles a week all over nj/ny/pa, and there are tons of roads i know and a whole lot more i dont. things like this are nothing new. its just "how stupid are we gonna be today" that people need to ask themselves.
you guys keep saying 'he' but, from all the facts that we've gleaned so far i think its safe to say that it could have been a woman driver

I think your allowed a certain amount over in a passing zone like that. of course if your passing someone on a single lane road of course the person you are passing is probably doing less than the speed limit....assuming of course that none of us never ever have or ever will speed
