Why not? Got it for a really good price. Has the rare fold down rear seat and it is PERFECT! Found a couple tool boxes in the trunk, its already starting to pay for its self!

yeah a 68 fastback, junk. This (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-Mustang-none-1965-ford-mustang-fastback-shell-/150914581769?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item232335c509) is a SHELL ONLY and it is already more than what I paid for a complete running car 8-)

I dig it...just don't put a skyline motor in it hiroshi.
Not bad, good luck with it
PolarBear

hiroshi.
Are you calling me hiroshi:?:
Oh and the car is not completely rusted out underneath. It does have a few problem spots, but its not bad

289 engine with an auto, Front disc brakes and the fold down rear seat, has a few rare options from my understanding

I said a 10 second car not a 10 minute car. You can tow it across the line or uh push it.

Looks like it needs a passenger quarter and a front valance....what's so bad about that? I don't know what you paid for it but it's a killer car...nice buy. I'm not a Mustang guy but I would pick up one of those fastbacks in a heartbeat given the opportunity.
If you start looking for parts try calling Mark at Jersey Shore Mustangs...great local guy based out of Bridgewater. Tell him I sent you.

I also support the purchase. Friggin love those style Mustangs. They are by far the best looking Mustangs of all time by a far and a wide margin.
With that said...What's a drift?

Good thing someone put a Mustang banner on the windshield. If it wasn't for that, I could have sworn it was an AMX or something.

Nothing will ever be finished because I keep changing my mind. There will always be something on a project that I want to change.
I have been working on the 73 though. Work sucks now that I am in Newark most of the time. I get up at 5am get home from work around 5:30pm and now I am tired by 8pm. I try to get out there for at least an hour each night now that it isnt so hot that I want shoot myself rather than be alive. It is my time of year now, you will see more progress on my stuff soon.

no you don't. because you keep adding cars and changing ideas. the cash flow will never slow.
I haven't really wanted to spend the money. I have other responsibilities. I cannot afford to change my plans as much as I change my pants. at least the wheels I have fit the car lol

Yeah, I know you have responsibilities, but you need wheels for that car  The wheels i have on the car fit PROPERLY, but of course the wheels I want are so damn expensive. THey will have to be the last thing I get anyway as I need the proper backspacing with the brakes and suspension/sheet metal.
And you have no idea how much money I have. I am not looking to build $100,000 cars and I have an "in" for bodywork on my projects. All the other projects I have are not real high dollar, like I said, I have the money for them. Time is the problem I will have in the end since I started this new position.

Better to be low on time than money, IMO.

Oh THAT, its only because of the stock upper control arms, if I had the SPC ones on it wouldnt have touched. If you are accounting for that almost no other non-factory 2nd gen wheel is going to "fit" unless the steering stop is adjusted. Joe went full lock when he drove the car, I dont have any issues with the wheels being wider
