Blew my 4th 700r4 last night im tired of this trans and if im going to fork over my wallet its going to be on what I WANT this time. So im looking for a t56 to swap into my auto 3rd gen. Let me know if you got everything I need or just parts im looking to do this as cheap as possible to be able to run the car for now and plan to put a built t56 in end of winter. Thanks

Find yourself an entire parts car, it will be alot easier. Try asking Ted Gerlach.

I dont have space and time for all that mess. Just need a trans. Hell i got guys with swap parts on thirdgen pretty cheap, and if i can get just a rebuildable t56 without all the extras cheap enough id perfer that.

You could try TGO, thirdgen.org. Thats how I found the T56 for my 84 TA. Was in the right place a the right time when I got it. Otherwise, Ebay, Hawks, Hanlon Motorsports, or Craigslist is your next best bet. They're out there. Just be aware, you may have to pay.
Heres one in Long Island if all you need is the trans...

Hawks stocks the T56 clutch fork last I know, ditto for the spacer. Trans mount and bearing should be able to find at any parts store.
