Welp, I think I might've just closed a deal for the AMX to go to a new home. I gotta tell ya, this has been one experience I wanna put behind me! Between low ballers, stupid questions, people wanting something for nothing, etc, it's going to make it so I don't miss the car much! Top of the list was an idiot who hit the "buy it now" button and then backpedaled like he didn't know what he was doing. Then there was another jerk who came no where near my reserve or buy it now price, and acted like the car should be his because he was the last bidder. Anywho, the guy I'm dealing with now seems to be a straight shooter, and he just Pay Pal'd me a deposit, and said he should be able to pick it up with in 2 weeks. I didn't get what I was asking, and think I should have gotten a lot more, but after 3 rounds on E bay I have to be realistic. And the guy is respectful of the work I did on the car, and he says he's going to keep it as is. Cool by me. And it is going to the Midwest, so I won't have to regret selling it by seeing it at local shows.

Hope it all works out for you. It is unique and its nice to hear the new potential buyer will respect what was done to it. You put a lot into the car but passing it on to a new home will free you up for some new things.

None of you Noisy Nancys need to know what happened to the 4V project. Better yet, write me a good sized check n I will give you the parts AND the story.

Lemme just say that "cool" doesn't always trump "proven." IMHO if you want to actuate multiple valves per cylinder you are better off having cams ABOVE the valves to do the work.

Not to continue the derail, but we are talking bout LT1 revered artifacts here.. sooo hows a grand work?
There is a guy in Jackson that had a running dominion headed LT1. When I picked my hood up from him he was telling me about it. He showed me pics and a video of it idling. He ended up getting rear ended and sold the 383 with that top end on it for a mere 2 grand. He still had the 32v dominion valve covers. They were sitting next to the hood when I picked it up...
