This Saturday they're having a deal where you get up to $25 refund for a purchase at a small business (the event is called Small Business Saturday) at a participating store/restaurant. Most places are on there in my area I know, so all of you in populated areas should be fine too (if you have stuff other than chain stores!)

You just have to enroll your card by signing up below.

If that makes them hire competent customer service agents then I don't really care.

correct.

typically they charge much higher rates to the vendors and in return nearly always side with the cardholder on disputes. even if you have customer physical signature on estimates. BTDT. Amex = good for card holders, bad for vendors.

It used to be an exclusivity game, but those days are gone. Like Diners Club lol

Well, that's why I use them. I filed a dispute with paypal and it took them 3 weeks to tell me to suck a dick.

I next called AMEX, and it was solved for me within 24 hours in my favor. Why would I deal with any other card is beyond me.

Btw, dispute was about a canceled concert that I wanted a refund for. Paypal can suck it.

i have heard that about PP many times. I fund mine via amex for the same reason.

So do I.

"Sir, did you do this?"

"No."

"Ok, thanks, goodbye"

OR

"These people did not deliver. Can I stop payment"

"Yes, our apologies. Done. Thanks, goodbye."
