They all should. Good luck making a non ally hold the power.

Better get a BFH to "massage" the trans tunnel, along with a hefty increase in weight.

But you'd never break it!
dont think a t56 can tame it?
just a few things im not to sure about.
does it have the 3 plugs for passenger kick panel?
will my hood close? or would i need a cowl hood.

Well, honestly its a dumb idea in terms of money spent and actual results.
Nothing will be easy, everything will be custom, and the fact that you think a T56 is a good idea, is a good factor in saying it won't work. Also, good luck wiring it all up, that will be a lovely time.
There is no real reason short of "look at what I did" to swap in a Dmax, a bone stock engine will run over 5k and nothing on a diesel performance is cheap. Build a turbo BBC and toss that in, guarantee it will outperform the dmax. Not saying it can't be done, cause its does get done, but they don't make for fast race cars...
im just more curious than anything about all this..
what would need to be rewired? just rpm, temp, voltage and, oil pressure. no?

Uh, don't you do to diesel school?
CP3, FCIM etc all would need inputs etc.. so you would wanna run the dmax PCM, and find a way to convert its dash signals to your chassis dash cluster.

yes thats what id wanna do.. would there be anybetter way?
im not going to do this like i said im curious. and maybe one day in the future its a possibility.
its been done. YouTube it.

Neighbor is working on a Chevelle with ally and 2005 dmax... after cutting out the trans tunnel and part of the firewall he has the motor bolted down lol.
I say do it, so many lsx, and ltx builds out there. No reason to be just another slow ls1 when you can have your very own claim to fame and at the same time put your diesel mechanic skills on display
too bad that engine is worth more than my whole car! ill send santa a letter lol

He is a machinist by trade. His restoration was coming along beautifully until he decided to cut his car apart for that motor :-x
He promises me 30 MPG and 12 second passes or faster though...
