Buk?

I dont know what Buk means so I have no response. I am not that good at computer talk.

Mike

You literally have zero sense of humor huh? Do you have to argue or pick a fight EVERY time someone posts a little dig?

This is the central section. It was a central meet. It wasn't even a club meet. Get over yourself

Really?? and you guys wonder why the South doesnt travel to meets up your ways...

If you scroll down you would have seen that it's not an "official club meet" just a bunch of west guys getting together for dinner, and it has always been open to everyone. Bear's point is that we don't need to go down south to go to the TRH anymore. No reason to break out the flamethrower.

For what it's worth, google says I am 57 minutes away from Hamilton and you are 45 minutes away. :nick:

Welcoming new people in the state of NJ and having people in other areas that want to go to meets in other areas I think is an important focus for a car club. I didnt post up talking crap. It was already here when I was browsing. There were a couple of us that might have been interested in hanging out with you guys at this Roadhouse event, but after reading the thread just to see you guys bashing us still I am thinking otherwise.

Your post said "this roadhouse meet". We go out every month but not to the same spot. And anyone is welcome

BonzoHansen
01-09-2013, 12:12 PM
Time out. The guys in this area have had a standing 2nd Tuesday of the month dinner for at least 5 years, maybe more. Not a club meet or event, just us local guys meeting up. Go on scroll down through this forum. 2nd Tuesdays go way back.

Bear was obviously just making a joke. Sometimes you are a bit quick to get defensive over things.

2nd Tuesday meets predate the NJFBOA, and for as long as I've been around it's been in the Hamilton or Princeton area.

Unos, Tortugas in Princeton, TRH, maybe a few other places.

If you guys want to roll, it's the 2nd Tuesday unless a post in here says otherwise. Sometimes it's Thursday due to lack of turnout. We've had the shore guys come out a few times which was really cool.

I just searched this forum for "Tuesday". 8 pages of returns, going back to 2004!

Yeah, man I was completely kidding. Besides there are some people at the southern TRH meet that we like to see but only go to south meets.

I do get defensive and I apologize for that. I wasnt aware of this tuesdays meet until I opened up the thread today and started to read about TRH. I was thinking it would be cool to hang out and what not and even txted some other people about this as well.

Generally we keep it in the Hamilton area since most of the time when we would go somewhere else because of other people, it would only be Hamilton guys.

If you are available for the next meet we may consider going to someplace closer to you. There are a few places in the Bordentown area that we like too

Hamilton is fine with me. I am always working up at Rober Wood Johnson or St Francis Hospital. Its about a 25 min drive without traffic from my house to RWJ.

Bordentown works as well. I wont be able to do Tuesday next week as I have a NJ Pontiac club dinner/meeting to go to ( which you guys are welcome to come to as well its in Marlton NJ) but any other night would be good as of now.

Please dont change your plans or your routine for us, as we can go to wherever you guys usually go to. Its your area and your meet.

Nice. Did that TRH just open up? I wish I would have known it was around the Hospital. I have spent some long hours in that Hospital and eating caffetera food is not the best. TRH would have been a much better choice..

Are far back as I go, JeffH was there whne I joined...

1995 ( was when i joiuned) -1999 - Second Tuesday ( sometimes Thursday) Of Month Meeting of MAFBA ( Mid Atlantic F-Body Association - NJ chapter) RIP!

1999-2005 - STOMM - CJCFO (Central Jersey Camaro Firebird Owners). Meetings held North/Central area - Rt 22 Fudd Ruckers, Aligators ect. RIP!

2006-Present - STOMM - NJFBOA - At that time 99% of the people attending came from Ewing/Hamilton so we moved the meets closer.

The meetings are certianly open to anyone who just want to attend, No F-body required! Make new freinds, talk cars, swap parts, eat etc, and we try to keep these to the easily affordable places that have a decent meal, cold beer, hot coffee, and have ample parking. During nicer weather we normal stand around outside from 6-7ish before heading in to eat. We have always been willing to travel a bit further if people are actually going to attend, Flemmington, Burlington, Brunswick - feel free to make a suggestion.

Very cool. I was part of the MAFBA of Virginia. Man those were some crazy times.

The only suggestion I have is maybe Chickies and Petes in Bordentown! They have some killer food as well.

Also Dublin square in bordentown. Right next door. The Hamilton marketplace on 130 is only another 5 minutes down 130 from bordentown and has a few options
