Hello guys

I was told to check this board out by Jersey Mike from over at LS1tech.

I've had a white 2000 TA for about 5 years, just starting to get into doing some work. So far I have put a lid on, getting rotors/pads and black rims are next on the list.

I'm going to do exhaust/gears/tune, then cam/heads/intake. I've spoken a lot to Bill at RPM, read alot of good things about them. Anyone recommend anything closer? I know Cartek is close, Tune time is in Lakewood. Experiences?

Thanks

Well tune time.. My buddy got his car tuned there made it not even a mile or so and his motor blew up. Supposedly a dave Krysienski can tune them. East coast superchargers in new egypt does ls motor tuning. Maybe some ls guys will chime in. Other then that welcome to the board

many times convenience is costly. dont settle for shop just because of its proximity. +rpm sponsors the site!

Welcome, where you from? I'm in Belmar and work in Point Pleasant Beach.

Im in Monroe, southern part, just moved here i July.

Wsex, I've had good experience with RPM thus far, I'm not necessarily looking to take my car someplace else, just want to check all my options. I haven't spent a dollar there yet and Bill treats me like I've spent tons.

the rpm that he is talking about is not the sponsor on this site.

You are correct sir! I was just looking through the sponsors and RPM resto is a sponsor, i meant race proven in delaware.

Rpm resto is a hell of a lot closer to me though.

I had my car/tranny tuned after my header install almost a year ago at Tune Time and have had no problems

Welcome.

And I had my old SS tuned at Race Proven Motorsports in DE, back in 2010. They were great to deal with. Very professional. They now have a new, bigger location where all cars they work on are stored indoors. They have been building several 1000+rwhp cars lately. I would highly recommend them.
