Alrighty, got my Cool Ranch Doritoes, hot wings, pizza with the works, and a fresh bottle of Coke Zero. All set for the WWE Royal Rumble tonight. Gonna have some fun and yell so loud the dog will be scared! :)

I grew up watching wrestling with my dad, and still today I am a big fan. I think its going to be a hell of a show tonight, probably a few big surprises coming our way!

I hear ya brother! I have memories of watching guys like Bruno Sammartino and George "The Animal" Steele on a little b&w TV with my old man when I was a kid. I remember Wrestlemania I, and when I was in the Air Force back in the 80s my buddies and I would watch wrestling and beat the hell outa each other acting like The Road Warriors, Four Horsemen, Hulk, Macho Man, etc. I still love it, and like going to the small indy matches. Those guys work really hard to put on a good show, too.

1. Get off WWW
2. Call AAA to send tow truck
3. Ask tow truck driver to help pull your cranium out of your arse.
4. Enjoy life!

The fanbase for wwe is huge, some may say its fake but it is entertainment. There's a reason it is the longest airing weekly show on tv with the most viewers of any show.

Of couse it is just "entertainment," hell, I love it for the same reasons I like action flicks, cartoons, and comic books. But nobody can honestly say those people aren't athletes and they are VERY skilled at what they do. They do get hurt, and pretty much work year round. Gotta be tough to be in that biz.

I would say damn near 100% of 80's-early 90's action flicks had plot holes you could drive a truck through and overall plots that make Paris Hilton look deep, but they are entertaining anyway.

Unstable bob gable can smell what you are cooking! I can watch Cobra, Demolition Man, Road House, ect over and over again. And do not get me going about Mad Max...:)

Nothing like the old school wwf matches.....mr. t vrs hogan or andre the giant...ultimate warrior, the rockers, jimmy superfly, etc. I always was a fan of the hart foundation...brett was the man, but those sunglasses he wore are out of style today ( so someone told me..lol). I still catch the monday night raw episodes every now and then...its entertainment...period. Got tickets about 8 years ago when they were at the garden...saw edge and Tripe H (side note: i plan on doing his entrance w/the water bottle the day i retire from the office!) One thing i have to say is unless your <8 rows back the view sucks live.

I watched it all the time back in the day. Still love watching old videos of Hulk vs Sgt. Slaughter or Andre the Giant. Ultimate Warrior was a badass too. And you can't forget how much fun it was when the Undertaker first came on the scene!

I have tried watching some of the new shows, but just can't get into it. Not sure if it's because I know it's all staged now, or just can't get into the characters or what.
