so im a newb to suspension and steering stuff
i need to pretty much replace everything in the front end of my 98 ZR2 Blazer, with the exception of the hubs/bearings and upper ball joints(did them last year)

ive been ebay browsing for complete kits and found some, mainly looking to see if anyones purchased from suspension parts whare house. i cant find what brand parts they use and if theyre any good? but they have a complete package at a nice price

I have done a bunch of work to mine. Are you doing control arms, pitman and box? On the steering box I used parts chain and its not a real good idea. They wind giving you something that "fits" but may not be the same rate as our ZR2s used with the heavy front end. So for box I would spend the extra and go GM. Pitman use moog and try and use moog for the ball joints as well. The bushings don't matter a whole lot.

I have never bought a kit for this truck. If you link one I can take a look.

90 bucks? What, is that stuff made of painted salt watter taffy?

I would not trust it.

A quality pitman arm alone is $40 at Rock Auto. 4WD idler is $35.

All of the part numbers are Moog suspension numbers.

John, I was wondering that, but I can't imagine how the guy wouldn't lose his ass selling this low.

If those are moog, buy it. But they are going to be the cheaper line. Mood has those, then "problem solver" which are a bit beefier. They go bad so quick it is fine to use the cheaper stuff. Even the good stuff goes bad quick on these trucks. However, I find it hard to believe. The ball joints alone are twice that price. The pitman is half. I'm calling BS, but if it is right, I will take 2 sets please !

i matched up some of the part numbers with other listed prices for the same items... seems legit, inner and outer's are listed as the 'problem solver' grade.

i agree, these front ends blow, but i abuse it so thats ok
