I got tired of my blazer and wanted a pickup. It's a 1990 gmc Sierra. Stepside bed, 5 speed manual, 5.7 350. I'm ordering a rear roll pan, new clear headlights and a 98 grill.

nice bro! just watch the clutch hydros. if it has the plastic slave, they crack pretty easy and quickly. just upgrade to the 89 slave which is a cast aluminum body if it ever happens

I love my '93...still a work in progress though but comfortable and reliable, hence me getting rid of my jeep to daily an older vehicle.

Nice truck! What size cowl is that? My brother has a 93 full size and I always liked it. I found this in my town and I couldn't beat the price on it. The radio actually sounds nice and clear, I may buy the Sony xplodes to replace the factory.

Thanks. Cowl is a 4" attained from LMC truck parts this past december...was trying to find a used one however all i found were fiberglass. After doing cab corners, lower door skin, repainting parts of it and new door molding all around she's coming together nicely....now i have to get a new rear bumper as this one has a little rust peeking out and putting an audio system in it (this has the cassette deck in the center....it ate my 'days of thunder' tape...fml).
Very nice, good luck with it.
can i have your old s10? lol

Looks great Jim, you keepin the stepside or finding a standard bed?

Always dug the stepside look myself, although a single cab/4x4/fleetside looks great lifted.

I'm keeping it stepside. I just ordered the rollpan, clear corner lights/headlights/parking lights and a 98 grill

Nice! I didn't need the fleetside when I bought mine, I was just looking for a reg cab short bed which is tougher to find than you would think. I'm kind of split between the older stepside vs the newer. I just wanted a newer vehicle. I removed the moldings since they were faded so bad.

It looks like yours is sitting pretty level which is a good sign. Are your rear stepsides made of plastic/fiberglass or metal? I thought they were fiberglass like mine.

Yeah, no sags or anything. Just the driver door needs pins and springs. The bed is fiberglass

Looks good..just received my new bumper yesterday myself. Going to coat the inside of it before installation as these were notorious for rusting from the inside out.

Thanks guys, that's why I did the roll pan. The bumper rusted through in a few spots. Update

jim the truck looks great the gmc grill and the newer headlights looks alot better on these trucks

Did you buy the grill w/the billet piece installed? I added a billet to mine but man, had to cut a lot for it to fit perfect. I saw afterwards one could buy the billet piece and new grill altogether, granted i only paid $50 for the billet piece.
Your truck is coming along nicely.

It looks so much better, thanks Chris.
I bought the billet grill separately then cut out the center plastic section. I purchased a nice dremmel tool with a bunch of fittings so it came out nice. Definitely cut out a lot of it haha
