Up for grabs: 1986 Honda Interceptor VFR750

Gee ThoR294, you sure love this bike... why would you let it go?

Great question. I love the bike and I hate to let it go, but you know, sometimes in your life you get this thing called a "girlfriend" and you have to do things like "move out of your parents house with her." It sure does suck, but you gotta do it. I am also sure as hell not parting with the WS6 :tta:

Pros for buying this bike:
90HP Dinosaur
Own the saught after bike of the late 80s early 90s
Best 750 cc sport bike award from Cycle World six years in a row!!!
Beating 500hp Cobras...

v8 sound on a motorcycle

Cons (yeah right):
MURICA COLORS

This bike is amazing. It has small little imperfections on it (some wear on the tank where the seat meets the tank, and a little scuff on the right fairing), but it is ALL ORIGINAL minus the mods. Never been dropped while ridden, the previous owner had it fall in the garage apparently, causing the minor scuff.

Mods:

K&N
Aftermarket Rear Shock/Spring
4 into 1 Hindle Stealth exhaust
-1 Front Sprocket
+1 Rear Sprocket
LEDs (2 in fairing, 1 in front fender, 1 in rear fender)

that's a nice bike, i'd be interested in it, but the asking price is quite high for a bike that old, regardless of the fact that its a classic. that's gotta be close to what it cost new in '86.

how many miles?

I was looking for $3500 OBO. I had 4 up originally lol.

its got 45k ish miles on it (I will have to check). My father just got his permit so I may just keep the bike. Bikes have a small price gap, because you can get some runofthemill 600 with newer tech on it for ~$3500... doesn't mean my bike is worth that much. It has some heritage to it and it is a bike everyone knew :P
