I've been wanting to get a car care/detailing line into my shop and now we have it - Griot's Garage!

Other than certain Advance Auto locations, we will be the only distributor in NJ for Griot's Garage products.

Many of you are aware of Griot's through their catalogs and Youtube videos - some may have even used their products purchased direct or even in certain Advance Auto locations in NJ (very limited selection). I've been using their Speed Shine, Interior Cleaner, and Wheel Cleaner for a few years now - love their products and buy them by the gallon.

I was hoping to have this all set and done earlier this week to place an order for retail - to allow attendees of the Duke Island meet to purchase product, but the window of opportunity for shipping has past. However, we will be bringing product to the August meet onward for purchase and demonstrations. You may also stop by our Hillsborough location to purchase or at any of the many non NJFBOA car shows we plan on attending this year and into the future.

We won't be able to carry every single item in their catalog, but will carry products such as:

Wash Mitts & Pads
Speed Shine detailer
Engine cleaner
Spray car wash (no water cleaning)
Wheel cleaners
Spray on wax
Clay bar
Machine polish
Liquid & paste wax
Carpet cleaner
Interior cleaner
Leather care
Glass cleaner
and other items

I will also offer to refill certain product (Speed shine and Interior cleaner as examples) for a lower cost than purchasing a new bottle. Saves you $ and keeps the extra bottles from polluting our environment.

Here's a link to their website for product information: http://www.griotsgarage.com/

As always, we still have our 17" 3rd gen wheels and can get you performance parts like Magnaflow Exhaust, Race ramps, and AFE Intake Systems at very competitive prices.

I also want to mention that we do detail cars (soon to be with Griot's products) at our shop. We aren't high volume like some shops, but offer great service at a great price point. My next door neighbor is a used car dealer - I do work for him and also referrals. Figure to mention this since not everyone on the board wants to detail their own cars for time or physical constraints.

PM me if you need anything in particular.

Nice. They make some good products so I'm sure I will be picking a few things up from you.

Thanks everybody!

The good news is that I will carry a good portion of the product line at my space in Hillsborough and will be able to order anything they carry. I'm not required to order 300 of one item (like our wheels to get preferred pricing). I'm going to offer refills too, at a lower price point than buying a new bottle of product.

What is everybody using from Griot's? I'm using speedshine, wheel cleaner, and interior cleaner right now for detailing...

And if you are attending the meets, you can get stuff from me on the spot - of course I can't carry everything, so let me know ahead of the date!

I used the interior cleaning product I got from you on Saturday. I used it on the carpet insert on the door panel. It worked great! There was a black spot about the size of a half dollar and a rust stain where the cup holder should be, it got both stains out. Thanks Paul! I have to do the other door panel and I have some black scuffs on the plastics to get out still.

Guess I don't have to IM you if you like it!

If it doesn't pull the black scuff marks out, let me know and I have a super strong interior plastic cleaner on my cleaning cart.
